The user of the IÐNÚ publication website is bound by the provisions of these terms. For use, the service is considered, among other things, inspection, information gathering and/or utilization of the services offered on the company's website at any given time. All use of the website is limited to the actions that can be considered normal and legal and the information and services offered at any given time.

Website information - limitation of liability
The operator can at any time change the content and information presented on the website without any notice. The operator can also interrupt the user's access to the website at any time without any notice or notifications, for example due to repairs, failures, updating the website and/or other necessary actions in the opinion of the operator at any given time. The operator is not responsible for any possible damage that the user may suffer as a result of this.

The user is advised to contact the operator's office where the staff will receive all inquiries and provide more detailed information about the activities and services provided by the operator at any given time.

All use of content and information from the operator's website is always the sole responsibility of the user, and the operator is not liable for any damage that may occur as a result of use, for example because the information has proven to be incorrect and/or not exhaustive about content or even that the user has not been able to take advantage of access to the website.

The operator is also not responsible for any damage that the user may suffer due to the user's ignorance, misunderstanding, misuse of the website or because the user's computer equipment does not work properly.

Operator's liability
The operator is only liable for direct damage to the user of the website according to the general rules of tort law due to the intent or gross negligence of the company or its employees, with the exceptions stated in these terms and conditions.
Compensation for direct damage that the user may suffer as a result of using this website is limited to SDR 2,500 for each loss or more losses if their cause is the same. SDR must be calculated for Icelandic currency according to the exchange rate on the day the payment is made.

All content on the website is subject to the copyright of the operator and its use is prohibited without the written permission of the operator, including the use of trademarks, service marks and/or trade names.

Utilization of information from the user
The user authorizes the operator to use the information/inquiries he sends to the website free of charge, provided that their registration and/or use is a normal part of the operator's activities.

Jurisdiction
Icelandic law applies to this website and terms. The operator thus does not guarantee the use of the website outside of Icelandic jurisdiction. If a case arises out of these terms or the website, it must be brought before the Reykjavík District Court.

Consent
A user who accesses the operator's website, examines, obtains information and/or uses the services available there is bound by these terms.

Íslandspóstur distributes all orders for IÐNÚ's online store, and thus Íslandspóst's delivery, warranty and transport terms apply to the delivery of the product. According to this, IÐNÚ is not responsible for any damage that may occur to a product in transit. If the product suffers damage from the time it is sent from IÐNÚ's online store and until it reaches the recipient, the damage is the carrier's responsibility.

Landið er allt eitt gjaldsvæði og er gjaldskráin ákveðin af IÐNÚ og getur breyst án fyrirvara. Ef verslað er af rmk.avista.dev milli landa þá er hærri sendingarkostnaður og sá kostnaður kemur fram áður en þú lýkur kaupum á síðunni.

Right of return and liability
Endurgreiðsla á vörum sem keyptar eru á rmk.avista.dev getur einungis átt sér stað ef vörur eru gallaðar eða skemmdar. Almennur skilafrestur á gölluðum eða skemmdum vörum eru 30 dagar. Hægt er að skila gallaðri eða skemmdri vöru og fá nýja í staðinn gegn framvísun reiknings. Ef varan er gölluð borgar rmk.avista.dev sendingarkostnaðinn sem fellur til við skil á vöru og sendingu nýrrar vöru en annars er sendingarkostnaður á ábyrgð kaupanda.

In most cases, books can be exchanged with us in IÐNÚ's store in Brautarholt 8, provided that the books are for sale in the store, are still unopened and in plastic if they are sold that way. However, the seller separates himself/herself from assessing each case individually.
